2017 Results

The 1st Annual Chilkat Challenge Triathlon (CCT) was held on July 15th and was hailed as a great time for all involved. Clouds were low but spirits were high, as racers completed the 35-mile course along the Chilkat River by boat, bike, and on foot through one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

1st Place

  • Women – Alisa Beske Haines 3:21:47
  • Team – A’s Ablaze Juneau 3:05:41 (Alisha Falberg, Adam Moser)

2nd Place

  • Men – Dylan Nelson Haines 3:15:02
  • Women – Abigail Myers Skagway 3:46:56
  • Team – SEACC Juneau 3:10:55 (Bryn Fluharty, Dave Alpert)

3rd Place

  • Men – Rustin Gooden S. Carolina 3:33:20
  • Women – Kathleen Froese, Whitehorse 3:48:55

We’ve updated the Full Results so all racers can see their split times., and the Steering Committee has already been meeting to plan out next year’s race, which is anticipated to double or triple in size. The 2nd Annual CCT will take place on July 1st. Please stay tuned to this website to find out the date of the pre-race meeting.
